Here is a lil overview of the resistence gear available, im pretty sure the diff kind of crafters can make them.
Cloth = Tailor
Leather = Leatherworker
Mail & Plate = Blacksmith (Can make this if needed)
Necklace & Ring = JC
He's a level 83 boss so max frost resist should be 83*5=415.
The 3 crafted pieces for each of the 4 armor types provide at least 285 frost resist, so including the 130 from pally aura or totem you'll reach the cap of 415.
On the discussion of FR gear, yes its doable without it on 10m, but wearing some makes the jobs of the healers much easier.
The enrage timer is set to 15m so its not about nuking him down fast its about nuking him down eventually and that goes alot better with ppl actually still alive.
